Experiencing Space:
The Cloisters
Assignment:
Through a series of sketches, communicate your experience of space at the Cloisters, NYC (ie: record your observations of light and shadows, texture and patterning of materials, transitions and pauses between rooms, and your feelings and reactions to each space).
Presentation:
To provide a coherent, communicative set of sketches, I ordered the presentation of my work from sketches with more general observations to those with more detailed observations. I tied the sketches together as though one were walking from one room into the next.
